2. Description of Service

StoryHoot provides an AI-powered platform for generating customized children's bedtime stories, including text, audio narration, and illustrations. We offer both free access and premium subscription tiers with enhanced features.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

As a user of StoryHoot, you agree not to use the service to:

Generate content that is inappropriate for children, abusive, defamatory, or explicit.
Upload images or inputs that violate the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
Attempt to exploit, bypass, or reverse engineer the AI generation mechanisms or limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The stories, images, and audio provided by StoryHoot are generated by Artificial Intelligence. While we utilize robust safety filters and prompts designed to produce child-friendly content, AI can occasionally produce unexpected or inaccurate results. Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing the generated content before sharing it with their children.

StoryHoot claims no responsibility for any psychological distress or unsuitability resulting from AI hallucinations.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original prompts and inputs you provide. By generating content on StoryHoot, you are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the generated text, audio, and images for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Content shared explicitly to the "Public Community" library grants StoryHoot a license to display that content to other users on the platform.

6. Subscriptions and Refunds

Premium features require an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and generally not provided for partially used billing periods.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryHoot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the modified terms.
