Sam and the Rainbow Robot

Sam, an energetic kid with olive skin and short brown hair, found a dusty old friend in the corner of the dark garage. It was Sparky, a small, shiny silver robot with a square head, round glowing blue eyes, and yellow buttons on his chest. Sparky was very busy beep-booping a long list of numbers onto a tiny screen on his arm. 'What are you doing, Sparky?' Sam asked with a curious tilt of his head. Sparky buzzed and said he was counting all the tiny grey dust motes because he only knew how to see grey numbers. Sam thought that sounded very lonely and decided Sparky needed to see something much better.

As they reached the top of the Big Hill, the sun began to dip behind the big, fluffy clouds. The sky turned a bright, glowing orange, and the tall trees looked like they were wearing sparkly golden coats. Sam, an energetic kid with olive skin and short brown hair, pointed at the horizon and cheered for the beautiful view. However, his screen just flickered with a big, confused question mark because he couldn't find a number for 'pretty.'

That night, Sparky didn't beep about numbers or try to count any more grey dust motes in the garage. Instead, he told Sam about a wonderful dream he had of a sky filled with shimmering violet swirls and lemon-yellow stars.
