Sam and the Magical Bubble Dragon
Sam was exploring the misty Whispering Woods when he spotted something very unusual behind a giant oak tree. It was a dragon, but not the scary kind you see in old picture books. Sam saw a large, friendly dragon with soft teal scales and shimmering pearlescent wings sitting quietly on the grass. The dragon looked a little bit grumpy and very lonely. Sam, an energetic kid with olive skin and short brown hair, walked up slowly and waved a friendly hello to the dragon. Sam hoped they could be fast friends.
Professor Hoot Says:

Scene: In a misty forest with a giant oak tree, Sam, an energetic kid with olive skin and short brown hair, is waving hello to Barnaby, a large, friendly dragon with soft teal scales and shimmering pearlescent wings. Barnaby is sitting on the green grass looking sad.
"Hello there, I am Sam!" the boy chirped with a wide and welcoming smile. The dragon let out a long, heavy sigh and introduced himself to Sam as Barnaby. Barnaby explained that he was supposed to be a fire-breathing dragon, but every time he tried to puff his chest out, nothing happened. Barnaby opened his big mouth wide and tried his hardest, but only one tiny, dull grey bubble floated out. Sam watched the sad little bubble pop silently on a leaf and knew he had to help his new friend. Sam promised Barnaby that they would find a way to fix the problem.
Professor Hoot Says:

Scene: Sam, an energetic kid with olive skin and short brown hair, looks disappointed as Sam watches Barnaby, a large, friendly dragon with soft teal scales and shimmering pearlescent wings, blow a single grey bubble from Barnaby's mouth.
Sam remembered a story his grandmother told him about the magical Glimmer Berries that grew by the Sparkle Creek. "Maybe those berries will give you your spark back, Barnaby!" Sam exclaimed excitedly to the dragon. The two friends set off on a magnificent journey through the forest, jumping over mossy logs and ducking under golden vines. Sam led the way while Barnaby waddled behind, his shimmering pearlescent wings twitching with a tiny bit of hope. Sam and Barnaby soon reached the edge of a bubbling creek that looked like beautiful melted silver. The forest was filled with the sweet song of magical birds.
Professor Hoot Says:
"Many berries grow in the wild and provide food for forest creatures."

High up on a jagged rock above the creek, Sam spotted a bush filled with bright, glowing purple berries. They were much too high for Sam to reach, and the ground was far too slippery for Barnaby to climb alone. "I have a very clever idea!" Sam shouted to Barnaby over the sound of the rushing water. Sam climbed onto Barnaby’s broad, teal back and held onto the dragon's neck gently. Barnaby gave a mighty flap of his pearlescent wings, lifting Sam just high enough to pluck a handful of the juicy Glimmer Berries. Sam cheered as he safely gathered the magical fruit.

Scene: Sam, an energetic kid with olive skin and short brown hair, is perched on the back of Barnaby, a large, friendly dragon with soft teal scales and shimmering pearlescent wings, reaching for purple berries on a cliff.
Barnaby ate the berries one by one, and suddenly his teal scales began to glow with a soft, warm light. The dragon took a very deep breath and let out a giant "Whoosh!" toward the sky. Instead of hot fire, a spectacular cloud of shimmering, rainbow-colored bubbles filled the entire air. Sam laughed and jumped around, popping the soapy circles that smelled like sweet, fresh strawberries. Barnaby wasn't a fire dragon, but he was the best bubble dragon in the world, and Sam had found a brand new best friend. They spent the rest of the day playing in the sunshine.
