Sam was exploring the backyard when he found a tiny surprise near the sunflowers. A little mouse named Milo was struggling to hold a very big, polka-dot umbrella. The umbrella was bright yellow and blue, and it looked much too heavy for such a small mouse to carry. Sam knelt down carefully on the grass so he would not scare his new friend. Milo looked up and gave a shy squeak while trying to keep the umbrella perfectly straight.

Suddenly, a big gust of wind whooshed through the garden with a loud whistle. The wind caught the inside of the giant umbrella and lifted Milo right off the ground! Sam watched in surprise as the mouse floated up toward the branches of the tall oak tree. Milo held onto the handle with his tiny paws, looking very brave but also very worried. The umbrella looked like a colorful hot air balloon drifting away in the breeze.
