After a long and exciting trip, the air began to feel very toasty and the ground turned a bright, shimmering yellow. Oliver and Pip stood at the edge of the vast Sahara Desert, staring at the giant, rolling hills of sand. "It looks like giant piles of lemon sugar!" Oliver exclaimed with a wide, happy grin. Even though Pip loved the beautiful desert, his feathers started to miss the cool breeze and the splashing waves of home.
