A brave boy peered through the glass window of his cozy, bubble-shaped submarine. Outside, the coral reef was bright and colorful, but something was wrong. Usually, at this time, the little clownfish and neon tetras would be tucked into their anemone beds for a nap. Today, however, they were darting around nervously, their tiny fins twitching with worry. A brave boy realized that the ocean was missing its nightly song, and he knew he had to find out why the deep sea was so quiet.

He steered his submarine deeper into the indigo water to find his friend, Barnaby the Whale. Barnaby was a massive, gentle blue whale with a bumpy snout and a friendly smile. When A brave boy found him, the giant whale looked very sad and was rubbing his neck against a tall, jagged rock. "I have a terrible tickle in my throat, little friend," Barnaby rumbled with a very scratchy and quiet voice. Without his smooth song, the whole ocean stayed awake and grumpy.
